Marian Evelyn Brown
Marian Evelyn Brown was born July 4, 1925, in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Ethel and James Brown. She relocated to Belleville New Jersey where she attended Belleville Public Schools.
Marian worked for the Belleville Board of Education until 2008. She relocated again to Lindenwold, NJ where she met so many new friends at Harvest House that she enjoyed being with daily. Marian was a fun-loving person. She loved to go out to eat and be around family and friends. Despite her age, Marian was always willing to help others in her community. Marian was initially afraid of flying, but she had her first trip with her son and soon to be daughter in-law. There were many family vacations after that and Marian always enjoyed the family games, group outings, and cooking ventures. During family vacations everyone was assigned a night to cook. Marian always had the first night to show case her talents. Her specialty was the “Famous Coconut Cake” among many other dishes she perfected. Marian loved Christmas and the Fourth of July holidays. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Lindenwold, NJ.
Marian was the youngest of four siblings, Lilian, Edward, Earl, and Elmer all predeceased. She was the proud mother of Arnold J. Brown.
Marian leaves to cherish many memories, her loving son, Arnold J. Brown, and her daughter in-law Erica. Her granddaughter, Donielle Ingram (Herbert); her Grandson, Louis Gaddy, Jr; three great grandchildren, Herbie, Jr., Siarra, Louis “LG” , Kaleigha and a host of family and friends.
