Judie H. Hornstein

Judith (Judie) Hornstein nee Harris - 79, of West Berlin, NJ formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Bucks County, PA passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 17, 2022.

Judie graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia. She married her husband, the love of her life, Allen Hornstein in 1961.

As they raised their children, Judie attended Holy Family College and graduated with an Accounting Degree. She then went to work for the IRS, retiring as an appeals officer after 25 years.

While living in Bucks County at Heritage Creek, Judie was chair of the opera club. She also led the Travel Committee with Al organizing many trips through the years. After moving to Montebello in West Berlin NJ, Judie and Al were part of the couples club at the JCC where they ran more trips.

Judie was passionate about her 6 grandchildren, they were a major joy in her life. Cruising was an activity she enjoyed and always looked forward to with family and friends. This was highlighted by their 50th Anniversary Cruise which included their whole family.

Judie was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother and is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Allen Hornstein; children and spouses: son, Chuck Hornstein (Kerry), son, Dave Hornstein (Colleen), son Andy Hornstein (Leslie); 6 grandchildren: Evan Hornstein, Josh Hornstein, Seth Hornstein, Rachel Hornstein, Ryan Hornstein and Kyle Hornstein. Sister: Joan Rosenfeld (Michael Eckstein). Judie was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Ruth Harris.

Judie’s family asks that no flowers be sent and that donations be made to the charity of your choice in her honor.
