Gilbert Zuckerman, currently of Tamarac, FL and formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ, died peacefully on August 14, 2023 at the age of 91. Gil was an electrician on a Coast Guard Cutter during the Korean War. He then started his post-service career with the Fuller Brush Company, as a door-to-door salesperson, working his way up over his 30-year career to be the Executive VP of Sales. Post-retirement he was the founder and principal owner of the Hardshell Café restaurants.
Gilbert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rita Zuckerman, sons Alan (Paula) Zuckerman and Scott Zuckerman, grandchildren Andy (Tamara), Shelby (Peter), Carly, and Ryan, great-grandchildren Jordyn, Morgan, Wesley and Dillon, and sister-in-law, Vickie Spitzer. His family and friends will greatly miss his kind heart, caring nature, and sense of humor.
